My Journey: From Door-to-Door Sales to Transformative Entrepreneurship
In 1994, my entrepreneurial journey began with a trunk full of phones and a vision. By 1998, I founded Absolute Wireless, selling cell phones to businesses. This venture quickly expanded into retail in 2000, serving individual customers and growing to 10 locations. In 2015, everything changed when I implemented the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). With EOS, Absolute Wireless grew exponentially—from 10 to 78 locations in just three years—achieving over $100 million in sales and earning recognition as Middle Tennessee’s fastest-growing company for two consecutive years.
During this time, I also launched CallProof, a SaaS platform designed to empower outside salespeople with CRM tools and sales routing features, enabling them to meet more prospects effectively. Additionally, I founded Hytch Rewards, a company that helps organizations utilize commutes for recruitment and mentorship-to-work programs, fostering connection and retention.
Remarkably, this rapid growth unfolded while I was living in Costa Rica with my young family, as documented on the House Hunters International episode “Fresh Start in Uvita, Costa Rica.” This experience underscores the incredible freedom and scalability achievable with a well-implemented operating system.
After selling Absolute Wireless in 2020, I transitioned into full-time work as an EOS Implementer, guiding entrepreneurial teams to build businesses that don’t depend on the owner’s constant presence. My mission is to help business owners reclaim their lives, pursue their passions, and experience the freedom of a self-managed company.
I’m also a proud 9-year member of Nashville EO and co-host of The Decision Podcast by EO Nashville, where I explore decision-making in entrepreneurship. Today, my wife, two sons, and I call Nashville, TN home. I lead entrepreneurship retreats in Costa Rica and at my lake house in Hendersonville, TN, and run The Decision Experience, a quarterly event that transforms business owners and individuals striving to reach their full potential.
When I’m not helping others achieve exponential growth, I enjoy traveling, skiing, and spending time with friends and family. A passionate advocate of Dan Sullivan’s “10x is easier than 2x” framework, I teach others how to embrace exponential growth while designing a life of purpose and fulfillment.
